I've checked in the past, but I didn't see any RETE rule engines for lejos. Writing a small embedded RETE engine should be straight forward, since I already have a functioning java implementation up on sourceforge. I've also contributed to Drools rule engine. Now if only the unit were on sale now, I'd start coding :)

Hi Peter -

You may want to keep checking the lejos homepage here:

http://lejos.sourceforge.net/

I haven't heard of anyone using lejos to create a RETE engine yet -- perhaps you could be the first! :)

I'm curious if anyone knows if Legoone or any has plans for an AI toolkit which includes a RETE rule engine? I write rule engines for fun and have been itching to implement a full RETE rule engine for Lego Mindstorm. My original thought was to use lejos and implement a small footprint RETE engine and use it to demonstrate collaborative agents.
